The National Volunteering Service Program (NVSP) is a program that was initiated in 2013 by the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) of Lebanon, focusing on the role of the youth in volunteering to make changes in their communities. The NVSP is funded by the World Bank.
For the second time since 2015, Donner Sang Compter (DSC) has earned the Small Grant Program (SGP) for its projects involving young volunteers promoting blood donation and other healthy habits within their entourage.
This year's project, "Young Volunteers Promoting Healthy Habits", has already started in October 2018, and is expected to end on the 31st of December 2018. Around 40 volunteers of DSC will be trained by professionals on soft skills, and on other matter directly related to promoting blood donation.
